Shout Out Saturday: BlaQ Daisy: 5 Things I Don’t Do Because of Slavery

JSin from Up 4 Discussion came up with a great idea of how to give each other more exposure in the blog world. All you do is say you’ll participate and then find a blogger on the list of participants and feature them in a Saturday post. Today’s feature blogger is the lovely Blaq Daisy.  Continue reading

Cool Runnings

Blog fam, I’ll be absent for a little while because I’ve been asked to join the Jamaican Bobsled team! Can you believe it?!

If you do you’re incredibly silly. Just dropping a quick note from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, so I can let ya know I’m off to Jamaica, so don’t send out the search party (like you’d care?)

I’ll be back in a week or so, don’t mind any errors you come across in this post. I’m on my iPhone. Deuces!

Nikks :)

You know not to take it personal when I get moody and disappear to another part of the house while you’re visiting. You know when to give me space. You know when to let me steam in my misery. When to check on me to see if I’m over whatever it is that’s pissing me off. It’s not easy to be my friend, but it’s true what they say…friends walk in when the world walks out. Continue reading
